College of Applied Science, Mavelikkara was formed Alumni Association of the College of Applied Science Mavelikkara (ALACASM). The highlight of the event was the official formation of ALACASM, which aims to strengthen the bond between alumni and the institution while fostering opportunities for networking, mentorship, and institutional support. An executive committee was constituted, comprising alumni from different batches. The members were selected through a consensus and entrusted with the responsibility of planning and executing alumni-related initiatives.

Decisions of the first executive committee held at College of Applied Science Mavelikkara at 2.00PM on 2nd October 2023

1. The committee resolved to open a current account for the Alumni Association of College of Applied Science Mavelikkara with the State Bank of India Mavelikkara branch. The account shall be jointly operated by the  Treasurer and the Principal.

2. The committee resolved to conduct a membership drive during the month of October 2023 receiving Rs.1000/- as membership fees for 5 years.

3. The committee resolved to prepare official seals, print official receipt books  and put in place Cash Book, Ledger and Bank register as books of accounts for the Association.

4. The committee resolved to build and organise a  comprehensive database of the college Alumni.

5. The committee recommended formation of an Alumni Relationship  Cell (ARC)and Alumni Students  Interaction Cell ( ASIC )in the college

6. The committee formed two special task groups

7. i) for collecting members details and  suggestions regarding Alumni activities from amongst the members  headed by executive members Arjun M and Richardson

8. ii) for collecting and compiling the skill and interest areas of students to help in formulating various future projects of the Alumni headed by executive members Reshmi and Ranchana.
