The Department of Electronics at the College of Applied Science, Mavelikkara, offers a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electronics program. This undergraduate course provides students with a solid foundation in electronics, covering topics such as circuit design, microcontrollers, and communication systems. The curriculum includes subjects like Analog & Digital Electronics, Microprocessors, Embedded Systems, Robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Students gain practical experience through well-equipped laboratories, including dedicated Electronics Labs with modern oscilloscopes, microcontroller kits, and signal processing tools, as well as Embedded Systems & IoT Labs for hands-on learning in automation and smart devices. This comprehensive approach ensures that graduates are well-prepared for careers in the evolving field of electronic

Undergraduate Programs:

B.Sc. in Electronics is an undergraduate course which introduces students to the fundamentals of electrical circuits such as transistors, vacuum tubes, integrated circuits and diodes. It is a 3 year course and is divided in 6 semesters.

B.Sc. Electronics is a field of science and technology that studies the control movement ed of electrons through various media and vacuum. The basic eligibility for admission to the course is a 10+2 with science subjects including physics, chemistry, and biology.

A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the state or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent there to with Physics as one of the subjects.

There are three laboratories at the college: a computer lab, an electronics lab, and  a general lab. Students are taught a variety of advanced methods as well as how to operate complex instruments. Practicals for core and supplemental papers are conducted in labs that are equipped with instruments
