The college was started in 1994 with two UG
courses: BSc Electronics and BSc Computer Science. Since then, the number of
courses has increased to 8 UG courses and 2 PG courses. The college operates
across two campuses.
The college is situated on 11 acres of land and
has constructed 25 classrooms, 2 ladies' restrooms, 1 IQAC room, sufficient
toilets, 2 seminar halls, 1 mini auditorium, 3 computer labs, 1 electronics
lab, 1 PG lab, 2 libraries, 2 canteens, and more.
The college has applied for new PG courses, MCA
and MBA. It is also planning to introduce innovative courses over time.
In addition, the college plans to improve its
infrastructure with the construction of an academic block, administrative
block, and a stadium, funded by an MLA grant of 5 crores INR within 2 years.
The construction will be supported by MP funds
and grants from the government as needed. Currently, the college is setting up
solar system, rainwater conservation systems, a gym, well recharge facilities,
handrails for ramps, and more.
